I had long ago traced my itinerary, which I knew to be longer and more solitary, a pilgrimage such as I conceived it.
Dole - Cluny - Le Puy-en-Velay

  • Saint-Gilles-du-Gard by the Regordane way.
  • Castres - Revel by the Via Tolosa
  • Fanjeaux - Pamiers - Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges
  • Lourdes - by the very beautiful and very difficult way of the Pyrenean foothills > - Luz-Saint-Sauveur - by the way of the Pyrenean foothills
  • Luz-Saint-Sauveur - Gavarnie.
    Then, in Spain, via Port-de-Boucharo, near the "Breche de Roland", the Camino Aragonés:
  • Torla - Biescas
  • Sanguesa - Puente la Reina, convergence of all the great roads to Santiago (no more loneliness, NDLR)
    Then the Camino Francés
    Logrono - Burgos
  • Leon - Astorga
  • Pontferrada - SANTIAGO
    Finally, to the Ocean:
  • Cap Fisterra - Muxia.
