With my guide Camille Semin, in our prospecting in search of traces of this laborious 20th century (and others) likely to inspire us, we crossed the Rosselange Main Street (Grand Rue) dseveral times in one direction or the other. Like almost all those of its kind, this former workers' city has the particular charm of regular houses that parade like a classical music partition. But how to grasp this impression that run over time? With all these cars at rest in front of the doorsteps to the incongruous PVC frames (of course badly come in our view of the day). Camille downshifted and my little Sony filmed what he could from the car that had become improvised traveling. We would have taken the time to do better, but Rosselange is along the Orne, not along the Fensch, our target of the moment. Nevertheless, it seemed inappropriate to me to leave out of the work in progress this village so typical and which seems to resist the economic hazards of these regions which were almost exclusively industrial for a little century. A nod to the inhabitants of Rosselange was necessary. Hence this the ten panels of this credence taken and rebuilt from the images of this 2mn30 film, far from the best of what could be done in cinema. Apologies and jubilation all the same.
